With rising costs so many are looking for ways to have a budget wedding without it looking like a budget wedding! Brides are very clever when looking at cost savings but still getting the vision they are looking for. From DIY to Midweek and early morning or early evening – to avoid full meal service – Small, home intimate weddings, and elopements, none of these things taking away from the beauty of their special day! There is a lull in the industry (for now) so I am offering my services at a reduced rate during that quieter wedding time but the same great service. Give me a call!
Big ole Jet Airliner get me to the ceremony on time!

Private Home – Rosemount – May 17, 2026
Kelly & John, after 14 years together decided the time was right to tie the knot! Moving soon to Tennessee they wanted something simple, short, sweet and to the point! The airline Goddess was on my side and I returned home to join these two in marriage in an intimate wedding in their home surrounded by close family. I wish you could see more of that wedding cake as it was made by granddaughters – it was lovely. Kelly looked beautiful, she has hardly aged since High School (We graduated together). The ceremony was as they wanted and included Jake… Can’t forget Jake!! (the family dog) decked out in a tuxedo. Good luck in your new adventures together!
Wedding season has started

Banquets of Minnesota -Fridley – May 14, 2026
Shamiyia & Ryan had a beautiful day to begin their marriage journey. Everything went off beautifully and it is always a complete joy to see that “first reaction”. I know that having the first look for photos is amazing but on the rare opportunity I get to witness a groom see his bride for the first time when she enters the room for the ceremony is always a treat! The guest even followed the color scheme and it was a very beautiful scene. I wish you all the luck and joy for your future together.
Last, but not least of 2025

Banquets of Minnesota – Fridley – Nov 1, 2025
Samantha & Alec rounded out my couples for 2025. I have to say Samantha was one of the calmest brides I have ever worked with. She was on top of everything and very organized! She looked radiant in her beautiful dress and Alec made a very handsome groom. The day went without a hitch and I see a long and happy future for these two!
So much love

Banquets of Minnesota – Fridley – Oct 24, 2025
I got such great energy from this couple, Kim & Aubrey, right from the moment we met! They are so in tune with each other and it shows. The love radiates from them. They both looked stunning in the contrasting dresses that they wore for their special day. There was so much joy between these two that whatever comes their way I see them smiling and loving each other through this life they are sharing! I was blessed to get to know these two!
A Parent’s Dream

Banquets of Minnesota – Fridley Oct 18, 2025
I met Kevin’s parents to help them make a lot of the plans for this wedding. Kevin lived up north and so he and his lovely bride Liezyl really could sit back and enjoy the day that was planned for them with love and attention to details. It was a very simple and traditional ceremony and the couple looked so sweet and in love. I wish them all the happiness in the future!
Up North
Cozy Cabin – Up North Oct 11, 2025
Another of my son’s good friends, another bonus daughter! chose to do the small intimate wedding as the sun set in Northern Minnesota. It was a brisk but beautiful day with very close friends and a few that were viewing via phone due to being out of state. Katie & Saul couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting and perfect sunset. After personal vows and a handfasting with blessings to all of the elements. A large family table was set up in the cabin for a wonderful dinner and dessert to complete the day.
Strictly Mother of the Bride
The Armory – Northfield Sept 26, 2025
I did not preside over this daughter’s wedding and got to enjoy just being Mother of the Bride – way more work! After 12 years together Caiti & Travis figured it was time to make it “official” they chose to have a night wedding (no dinner) so that they could invite everyone who was import to them. They had tables full of deserts and a Pizza truck at 9pm. They chose to do a pizza cutting instead of a cake cutting. The arch was decorated by me and I designed the bouquets as well. It was a nice ceremony but the after party was amazing there were close to 250 people there to celebrate this love. I am a tad biased but she was the most beautiful bride and Travis cleans up quite nice as well. They have an amazing foundation and I will be blessed to see their love grow as the years pass.
Just like my own…
Luminaire – Minneapolis Sept 13, 2025
Grace and Reggie are very near and dear to my heart. I have known Grace since she was in 5th grade and she had a locker next to my son. I have always thought of her as a bonus daughter, so to be asked to preside over her wedding meant the world to me. The weather that day was beautiful and despite the “craziness” that always happens on your wedding day she was calm and ready for the day! I caught my breath when I saw her for the first time, the dress was exquisite and with the hair and make-up she looked stunning. Reggie made a very handsome husband down to the Nordic braids! In my humble opinion the ceremony was very heartfelt and personal without being overly so. They were surrounded by so many friends and family it was an absolutely spectacular day! Wishing them so much love going forward in their journey through life.
3 in 3 Days!

Brittany and Drew was the first wedding this May weekend! They were a wonderful couple I had the pleasure of working with for a very short amount of time. Their love and devotion to each other and this commitment was evident from the moment I met them. She was absolutely radiant and he was beaming with love and pride. I wish the the greatest life together! Brittany shared a wonderful story with me in a card along with a $2 bill – there is a story to that and it is wonderful, I will cherish it always, it hangs above my computer in my office.
Lashaunda and Ashley’s love declaration was a spectacular event! They were surrounded by so many friends and family we filled the stage! It was a fun afternoon getting to meet all the extended family and friends. They both looked stunning and it was a real celebration of commitment. Here’s to many, many more years of wedded bliss.

With the blessing of the brides, I will share that the following day they continued in the celebration with a commitment ceremony adding Rocklan to their commitment to each other. I am honored that they felt and understood that I am truly a “love is love” person, and that commitment can take on many different forms. While this isn’t a legal binding they all three took this commitment and dedication to each other very seriously and with great care. So thank you for the experience of writing and creating words to seal a Throuple.
